We had a good visit overall, but... the paths were kind of confusing. The signs weren’t super easy to follow, and the map didn’t really help much either.

We had a really nice visit to the zoo, which was a pleasant surprise because I fully expected to spend half the day staring at empty enclosures pretending to see something. But the animals were actually easy to spot in most areas, even the ones I figured would be hiding like they had better things to do. We saw giraffes, bears, monkeys, and plenty more without having to stand around forever, which was lovely. The paths were simple to follow too, so we didn’t have to wander in circles like some places seem weirdly determined to make you do. Overall, it was a really good day

I found a spot right away and it was so easy. No hassle at all, which was really nice.

Went to Binder Park Zoo last weekend and had a really nice time. The place was clean overall, the walkways, animal areas, and bathrooms all seemed well taken care of. I did notice a couple trash cans getting full near the food area, but I’m guessing we just caught it at a bad time when it was busier. Nothing was gross or ruined the visit. Overall, it was clean, comfortable, and easy to enjoy the day. I’d give it 4 stars since there’s still a little room to improve.

The tram was handy for getting around, so I’ll give it that. We did end up waiting longer than we thought we would, which was a bit annoying, and then once we got on it felt kind of packed. But the views were nice, honestly. It wasn’t the smoothest ride ever, and I was a little tired by then anyway, but overall it was okay.

I really liked visiting here. The animals seemed calm from what I saw, and the spaces looked clean, which makes a big difference for me. Also, there were staff around, not in an over-the-top way, just enough that it felt like someone was paying attention. I kept noticing little things like that while walking around. It didn’t feel like just a place to stare at animals, more like their care was being taken seriously. Anyway, it was a nice visit and I left feeling good about it

Went on a weekend and it was easy to get around. It wasn’t too crowded, so we could just take our time and see everything without feeling rushed or packed in.

We went to Binder Park Zoo and had a nice enough time overall, but the restroom situation was frustrating. We ended up walking around way longer than we should have trying to find one, and if you’ve got kids with you, that turns into a whole stressful mission fast.
The zoo itself is nice, but they really need better signs or more restrooms in easier spots. I didn’t even bother asking customer service because, in my experience, you usually just get a vague answer and a point in some random direction, which isn’t super helpful when your kid has to go right now.

i really appreciated how much shade there was around the zoo. We were able to take breaks often, and there always seemed to be a bench nearby when the kids started getting tired. It made the whole visit so much easier, especially since it was a warm day. I’d definitely go back.

We went as a family and had an okay time, but the tickets felt a little pricey for what was actually there. A few areas were nice and the kids still enjoyed themselves, but some exhibits were really quiet or seemed closed off. It kind of had that feeling where there wasn’t really anyone around to bring the place to life, so it felt a bit flat. Not a bad visit, just didn’t feel like great value overall.

I thought the animal areas looked really clean and spacious, which is always a good sign, right? It made me feel like the animals were being well taken care of.

The snacks themselves were fine, nothing amazing but still decent. What bothered me more were the long lines and the prices, which felt a bit high for what you get. Did anyone else have the same issue with the wait and cost?

Not worth the extra cost for us in the end. The kids did like getting to see them up close, which was fun for a minute, but the feeding was over really fast. The staff also seemed kind of checked out, so it didn’t feel like much of an experience.

Some of the paths felt really long when you’re pushing a stroller, and the signs were a little confusing at times. We visited Binder Park Zoo on a day when I had already packed snacks, water bottles, and way too many napkins for some reason, and overall it was a decent outing. The zoo itself is nice, easy enough to walk around, and there were definitely a few animals that were fun to stop and watch for a bit.

I think I just went in expecting a little more variety than what we ended up seeing. There were some cool areas, but also a few stretches where we walked for a while and it felt like we weren’t really coming across anything very different, which made the visit feel a little slower than I expected.

It wasn’t a bad experience at all, and I’d still say it’s fine for a casual day trip, especially if you just want to get outside and wander around. For me though, it felt more like a 3-star visit because the animal selection didn’t seem as big as I had hoped.

We signed up for one of the education programs at Binder Park Zoo, i wasn’t sure how my kids would do at first. I was a little worried they’d get restless, but then I felt so relieved watching them actually pay attention and get excited. The staff was super friendly and explained everything in a way that made sense to them without talking down to them.
It never felt boring or dragged out, which I really appreciated as a parent. By the time we got home, I went from thinking it was just a nice activity to being genuinely impressed because they would not stop talking about habitats and conservation. It ended up being a really sweet, memorable part of our zoo visit...

I was expecting to spend a lot more time standing in line, but the wait ended up being shorter than I thought. The line kept moving quickly, so getting in was easy and we never felt like we were just stuck waiting around. It made our zoo trip feel a lot more relaxed and enjoyable

The site worked well on my phone. The text was easy to read, and I found the tickets and accessibility info without having to dig around. It made planning our zoo trip a lot less stressful. Maybe not the fanciest site ever, but it did what I needed it to do.
